Aker BP seeks an experienced Diving Expert with profound experience from diving operations on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.

Reporting to: Project Manager Subsea Technical & Diving

Arbeidsoppgaver

  • Manage Aker BP’s relationship towards to the PSA from a diving perspective.
  • Prepare diving consent applications to the PSA.
  • Participate in weekly (cross discipline) Aker BP Technical Authority meetings.
  • Support the Aker BP Subsea Alliance with provision of diving expertise in procedure development and at HAZIDs, HAZOPs etc.
  • Participate in audits of DSVs, with a primary focus on diving systems.
  • Offshore work on DSVs as an Aker BP diving representative.
  • Management of offshore rotas for vessel dive representatives.
  • Follow up of any Aker BP incidents that are related to diving, and participate in any subsequent investigations and/or close out actions.
  • Ensure that all Aker BP diving documentation is kept valid and up to date (primarily J-301 Management of Manned Underwater Operations).
  • Ensure that the wider Aker BP organisation is kept informed and with regards to company diving activities.
  • Work closely with the subsea project teams to ensure high quality deliverables in all areas related to diving.
  • Responsible for Aker BP HSE activities in relation diving.

Kvalifikasjoner

  • Education:
  • Høyskole / Universitet, Diplom / Bachelorgrad
  • Practical experience can compensate for formal education in certain areas.
  • Good Norwegian and English language skills – written and oral
  • Experience:
  • 15+ years’ experience working in commercial diving.
  • 10+ years’ experience working in the oil and gas industry
  • Detailed working knowledge of diving related Norwegian Petroleum Legislation in addition to international regulations and standards.
