Faroe Petroleum is an independent oil and gas company focusing principally on exploration, appraisal and producation opportunities in Norway and the UK. The Company has, through successful licence applications and acquisitions, built a substantial and diversified portfolio of exploration, appraisal, development and production assets in Norway, the UK and Ireland. The Brasse field discovery was made by Faroe in 2016 and was amongst the largest discoveries made in Norway that year. Brasse is located within tie-back distance to existing infrastructure. Based on reservoir and feasibility studies, preliminary total development capex is currently estimated at c. $550 million for the mid-case development scenario, and Faroe is now progressing towards Concept and FEED studies in 2018.
Project Manager Brasse
We are now looking for an experienced Project Manager to plan and execute Brasse, one of Faroe’s most material assets and Faroe’s first operated development project.
As the Project Manager on Brasse you need to have a proven track record as Project Manager of offshore development projects on the NCS. Experience from Concept and FEED studies as well as a solid knowledge of NCS legislation, regulations and standards related to development projects. A sound understanding of commercial, procurement and contractual related issues is a clear benefit.
We expect you to have good communication skills, written and spoken, and excellent intrapersonal and cooperation skills. Qualities such as self motivation and a proactive approach to tasks are prerequisites for the role.
