Responsible for coordination and execution of geophysical work for the field(s) within scope:
Seismic Well Tie
Use of AVO, seismic rock properties, attributes and seismic inversion for quantitative reservoir characterization
Well log interpretation and correlation
4D seismic interpretation and analysis
Provide and maintain inputs to asset reservoir models
Develop full understanding of remaining reservoir opportunities that could be economically justified in an effort to maximize production and value from the field
Ensure that reservoir priorities are maintained through planning and drilling of new wells and the overburden is thoroughly evaluated
Ensure that all work, tasks and projects within his/her area of responsibility is carried out to achieve the overall objectives for the fields. These include HSE, technical integrity, compliance, production and cost.
Coaching and mentoring of junior staff
Roles the Development Geophysicist interact with: Team: Geologist, Reservoir Engineer, Production Engineer, Operation Geologist, Asset/Hub: Operation, Projects, Drilling & Completion, Finance and External: Licence Partners and authorities

Ability to effectively work across the subsurface disciplines
Ability to integrate effectively across disciplines and communicate uncertainties (risks and opportunities)
Minimum M.Sc. plus 10 years geological experience with production geology
Well developed geophysical skills and experience within the areas of field development, production and well planning / execution
