Structural Geologist Expert
The position will be a combination of performing own technical work and performing peer assist, coaching and mentoring of the Aker BP producing assets
Company expert on structural geology
Being the link between structural geology and geophysics, ensuring quality in seismic interpretation across the company
Accessing structural impact on sediment distribution together with company experts on sedimentology
Characterization of fractured reservoirs/fracture systems
Discrete Fracture Network modelling
Behavior in accordance with Aker BP values; Søkende, Ansvarlig, Forutsigbar, Engasjert, Respektfull
Structural geology expert
Broad experience in seismic interpretation
Experience in characterization of fractured carbonates/fracture systems will be beneficial
Experience in Discrete Fracture Network modelling will be beneficial
Minimum M.Sc. plus 10 years of geological experience
Ability to integrate efficiently across disciplines and communicate geological uncertainties (risks and opportunities)
