Senior HSE Advisor
Be responsible for ensuring that all S&E related activities comply with Client HSE Policy, plans, procedures and regulations. Exhibit Client values, focusing on systematically and proactively striving for continuous improvement in HSE culture and performance.
-Follow-up incidents, ensuring appropriate quality of investigation and actions.
-Participate in investigations as required.
-Transfer Client and external S&E best practices between assets & projects, thereby facilitating a learning culture.
-Identify and follow-up deviations from HSE regulations, permits and procedures.
-Assist in delivery of the auditing and verification plans.
-Be familiar with QRA, emergency preparedness analysis and plans for operated assets.
-Contribute to the production and quality assurance of HSE performance reports.
-Provide advice on regulatory and procedural HSE requirements.
-Identify HSE risks and initiate mitigation to ALARP.
-Participate in relevant HSE meetings.
-Prepare, implement and maintain procedures for which this role is responsible.
-Support the line in developing HSE plans and targets, and deliver according to these.
-Follow-up trends in HSE performance.
-Regular site visits, including performing HSE verifications according to annual plans.
-Follow-up contractors according to HSE-PRO-REN-018.
-Participate in continuous development of the HSE Department.
-Act as Synergi super-user, and be “Case handler” for Synergi cases and verify quality of cases, with a focus on S.M.A.R.T. actions
-Prepare regular HSE performance reports.
-Facilitate regular HSE Performance discussions.
-Participate in meetings e.g. Operations meetings and HSE Advisor meetings.
-Transfer relevant Third Party HSE incidents, near miss and conditions into CLIENT Synergi.
-Use Synergi trend analysis to identify specific improvement areas.
-Engage Client subject matter experts on HSE issues as appropriate.
-Support the projects in developing HSE plans and targets, and deliver according to these.
-Responsible to support the projects regarding HSE requirements and relevant procedures & guidelines, e.g. HSE-PRO-REN-078 “Project HSE Management”
MSc or equivalent
Strong knowledge of regulations and standards
Knowledge of HSE Management tools and principles
10-15 years of experience from oil and gas projects and/or operations.
Experience from HSE management and follow up.
Ability to learn and make use of typical work related software (MS Office, PIMS, Assai, Workmate, Sharepoint, Synergi)
Strong analytical capability, with the ability to prioritize and solve problems and deliver results in a timely manner.
Good communication skills with the ability to interact and develop good working relationships across the organization
